Northwell Health Imaging at Bay Shore

"The hours stated both online and on their website do not coincide. Every time I call it states the office is closed and it's past the time it states it opens and before it closes. This doesn't make sense. Am I supposed to go in person to get an appointment?"

"The facility itself is fine. The employees were friendly. My issue is that almost every patient had a cane, walker, or wheelchair and there were not enough handicap parking spots to accommodate the clientele. Every spot was being used. I had to drop her off up front. The one girl covering the front helped me with mom while I dropped her off and then went to park."

"Scheduled for a sedated MRI due to spine pain. Doctor did not want to try to perform MRI with sedation. Sent patient away and only option to make phone calls to other facilities or go to ER. The doctor excuse was he just read the chart did not think patient was in so much pain. If I could give -0 star I would."

"I had a great experience at Northwell Health Imaging in Bay Shore last week. I was greeted and registered by Klara, who was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Going down to see the R.N., Chanalee, and the phlebotomist, Lisa, was a very pleasant and painless visit. Lisa was very quick to put in the I.V. I needed for an MRI with contrast. Chanalee was so supportive, empathetic and kind. I appreciated that so much. My X-ray and MRI techs, Trebor and Stephanie were also amazing! I was treated very kindly and gently throughout the many X-rays and the three MRI’s they were conducting. I was continually asked how I was doing and I was informed about what was being done and approximately how long each part would take. The whole team at Northwell Health Imaging, Bay Shore, coordinated my care perfectly from start to finish and I am very grateful to each and every one of the ladies that was there for me that anxiety producing day! Highly recommend this Imaging location!"

"I need to have sedation when I have an MRI, Zwanger no longer does it. I was referred to Northwell, I must say the treatment, care and kindness not to mention professionalism was outstanding. I thank all so much. Hats off to Northwell. Thank you"
