"REFUSAL TO BE SEEN!!!! DO NOT GO TO MOUNTAINVIEW URGENT CARE!We took my mom in today to urgent care because she took a bad fall and hurt her knee and hip. When arriving to the front desk (didn't catch her name)who was extremely standoffish and incredibly rude even before we said hello. She proceeded to ask for my mom's insurance to verify. After about 20 minutes or so, she told me my mom had a pending balance of $100 from 2020. I began to verify with them if the address on file for her was correct and without checking, she said 3 statements were sent and she should've gotten them. She proceeded to tell me, as if my mom were a criminal, that if that balance wasn't paid, they would not see her. My mom's knee was swollen and bleeding. I told her it was inhumane of them (including her billing manager, Ashley and Leann) to let her go like that and to please allow her to go home and review her payments since she has always paid every bill that has come in the mail. She again said, we will not see her and there's nothing she can do about it. This is extremely inhumane. At what point do we draw the line between policy and patient care when clearly needed????"

"I wish I could give a zero. I am a nurse and our pediatrician was full. I took my son to urgent care. He had symptoms of covid flu and strep. The nurse or cma whoever they were said they would swab him for strep. Even when I question to swab him for all 3 because he had symptoms that are not normally with strep. The PA Tatum was in the room less than 5 mins. She barely assessed my son. She said his strep test was positive. She didn't ask about allergies. I had to tell her he is allergic to amoxicillan. She ordered azythromycin and gave him too low of a dose. That night we ended up in the ER with a high fever. Then went to his pediatrician who tested him and he was positive for flu. She changed his antibiotic and informed me he was given too low a dose. She told us one more day and he would be hospitalized. They need to do a better assessment and take a better history on there patients. I will never go back. This is not the first time we have had issues at this urgent care."

"I’ve been to this urgent care prolly 5 times. The docs there I feel care and are very knowledgeable. I’ve always been treated with the upmost respect. They try and help you and get you well quick. I travel from Lenoir. Like them better than any in our area."

"I took my son to be seen because he hadn’t been feeling good. My son was seen by Tatum on Friday afternoon and I have never seen a better PA than her. So professional and caring. It was very refreshing to have someone in the medical field actually listen to my son and how he was feeling. They were so busy when we got there and the receptionist said it would be a 1-2 hour wait but it was only a 30 min wait. As soon as we walked in the door and walked back out everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond. We normally go to FastMed but not anymore. If I could request Tatum every time we go from now on in the future I would in a heartbeat."
