"DO NOT GO HERE. Terrible billing experience. I was sent a bill that I paid, and it showed paid in their online portal. I've now paid TWICE because they were threatening me with collections. When I called to get this corrected I was hung up on multiple times, transferred, and sent to an answering machine from some company that's supposedly located in Delaware. The entire experience was terrible from beginning to end. I will absolutely never go to them in the future and strongly urge everyone else to stay away from this organization."

"I went here 6 years ago and they took double ct scans of chest abdomen and pelvis, with and without contrast. I didn't even need the cts scans! I had negative tests then only a slightly elevated WBC!. But the oncologist ordered these excessive ct scans anyway. I guess to make money for the brand new hospital in Syracuse. I unknowingly went and didn't know really until later it was a huge amount of radiation all at once . Guess what? I ended up with Leukemia 5 years later! You cant sue either after 5 years in NY, and that's just about when leukemias show up. AND GUESS WHAT MY TREATMENT WAS??? MORE EXCESSIVE CT SCANS!!! which I didnt go for, so now I have no treatment. I would highly recommend staying away from all these CT scans overprescribed now!!! This hospital and all its associates are also part of the OCA or accountable care organizations, who collect and share data on patients in order to save money for the insurance companies. I never signed a release or authorization for this sharing plan! They are supposed to post it. Also Medicare and Medicaid Centers CMS in MD has many such electronic sharing systems in place at Drs offices and hospitals across NY. Yet you cant find any information about it or whos on it. Its all in these weird pdf files you cant view or download, all paid for by tax payers to do this over-hall in treatment plans which include cost cutting measures and sharing Patient information with insurance companies and providers. Its designed to save money for insurance companies including medicare and medicaid. Ever wonder why your Dr wont order basic tests anymore? Like chest x-rays, ultrasounds, etc. that are so much safer than CT scans? They will only treat you if you have diabetes yu will get something from the drug companies thrown at you that you cant tolerate. YES its the ACO's and CMS doing that controlling costs at Patients expense and privacy. Its called the "Medicare Shared Savings Program". It supposedly also measures quality of care but IDK whos measuring that. Healthcare now is nothing but a skeleton of medical treatment while intruding on patients privacy in order to cut costs. Its a BIG GOVT SECRET TOO!!! Dont bother calling the call center either, they are clueless about most things."

"I give this place 5 stars. I had an appointment scheduled for 8:30 the other day. When I arrived, I was checked right in. No waiting. Within less than 5 minutes, I was called for my appointment. I was out of there by 8:45. Kudos to St. Joseph's Imaging!"
