"I went in for my first acupuncture appointment on Tuesday. The acupuncture itself was great, but the initial exam was a bit awkward. We were going through my list of symptoms/reasons for booking an appointment, and when I mentioned the PTSD diagnosis I received after an incredibly traumatic sexual experience, Dr. Beccaria said, “Well I guess you learned your lesson.” I was honestly about to leave, but was so shocked and offended by what she said that I just sat through the rest of the appointment. Again, great acupuncture, but her bedside manner leaves much to be desired and I won’t be back. I’m not very comfortable putting this out to the public, but I wanted to let anyone else with sexual trauma know not to book with her."
