"When scheduling an appointment here [over the phone], the woman was extremely impolite. She mispronounced my childs name, Isla, but that's not the problem; what's problematic is her reaction when I corrected her. "Okay, and how is it spelt?" was her caustic reply. "It's like island without the -nd," I said. Do you also say "Is-Land, too, or??" No apologies or anything. Is it really that difficult to say you're sorry or simply to refrain from making crude remarks when you're setting up patient appointments? Everything else was fine aside from that. Lisa was fantastic, polite and really knowledgeable."
"The front desk staff have absolute piss poor attitudes. If your attitude is that bad, maybe you should find another job. There are far more people out there that could do that job 10 times better with a smile on their face. They also rescheduled an appointment without my knowing only to drive over an hour to get there and be told my appointment was rescheduled, but couldn't give any context on how it could've happened. They were combative and and couldn't take responsibility for how it could've happened, only accuse me of rescheduling it when I'd only spoke to them once, which was when I scheduled the first appointment. If this establishment wants to keep patients, they should probably replace the the hateful, disrespectful, lazy people at the front desk."
"This is a difficult review to write. On one hand, Dr. Garside is absolutely wonderful. Attentive, considerate, brilliant and personable. On the other hand, the front desk staff is the complete opposite. Rude, unhelpful and completely inept. I would imagine it's incredibly frustrating for providers who want to help their patients to know those patients must first navigate through a phone system manned by folks who simply aren't up to the task. They might be the best example of why robots SHOULD take human jobs. The fault lies squarely with those charged with hiring/training staff. Pay more so you get better employees (Lord knows y'all make enough money to reinvest it in talent) or spend some time training them on basic phone etiquette. Because what you are doing right now isn't working. So, 2 out of five if you figure Dr. Garside is a 5 and the people you have to talk to first are a 1 on their best day."
"All I can say is wow!! What an amazing ENT. I have been to so many doctors for my ears and none of them have treated me as great as Dr. Richard Mack Jones did. He approached my mother and I with such care and was so gentle. Definitely recommend him 100/10!!"
"I had a positive experience during my initial appointment with Dr. Garside. I feel like he heard and understood my concerns and answered my questions about getting a tonsillectomy to address issues I've been experiencing due my enlarged tonsils. I give 1 star to this practice because I've called their practice manager 4 times since my appointment on Nov 26, and still have yet to connect with her about scheduling a tonsillectomy. I cannot reach her live, and I've left 4 messages asking to be contacted that have not been followed up on. I understand people maybe traveling during December, but I feel like this is completely unacceptable from a healthcare provider. At this rate, I've lost confidence in this practice and have asked my PCP for a referral to another. I would advise anyone else seeking surgery to do the same."
