"Everything from the start was top notch. JD came out and inspected our hvac unit, provided an estimate for a replacement and gave a very thorough explanation of everything and answered all of the questions we had. Stephanie was very responsive with our proposal, continued to answer more questions we had and easily and quickly made changes to the proposal with each change we made, they even were able to get us on the schedule VERY quickly. On the day of installation, Michael and Santos continued the excellent service. They arrived early, worked quickly and finished the job in the early afternoon. They insured our thermostat was properly set up and answered a question I had about the air filters. We're very happy with our new unit and very lucky to have found such a caring and honest company. We highly recommend them to everyone!"

"I had them evaluate my HVAC systems and ductwork. They said that my unit wasn't wired correctly nor configured correctly. They wanted $450 to wire it and configure it. I agreed because I thought that they knew what they were doing. However, it took the technician a total of maybe 30 minutes to hook up one wire that was already ran and push some buttons to configure the settings. Then he informs me that after hooking up the second stage heat, the system is overheating and kicking out. He says that the unit is oversized, which is correct. However, after getting a second opinion from another company, they informed me that the system still wasn't configured correctly and that they never should have hooked up the second stage because the unit is oversized for my house. They unhooked the wire that they charged $450 to hook up and incorrectly configure the system. They properly configured the system, which took about 10 minutes total. After doing this, they ran it for 30 minutes, and it never overheated once. If the unit was already oversized and needing replacement, why would you charge someone $450 to hook up the additional capacity of the system that wasn't needed, especially since the unit has to be replaced anyway. I should have been informed this before agreeing to their charge. Also, the owner JD came out, and whenever I asked technical questions, he had to call the lady in the office or ask the technician. I would expect the owner to be more knowledgeable. I understand that it's impossible to know everything, but to call the lady that answers the phone for simple answers just doesn't seem right. Who is going to be the expert whenever the tech makes a mistake or has an issue? Finally, the other company came out and did just about everything they did. They even checked the operation of the second unit that they didn't do. After this, and undoing what they did incorrectly, they only charged me a total of $80!!!. I paid Cool Change/919 Fix My AC a total of $800. I would be cautious dealing with these people. Also, JD never returned my call whenever I called in to make a complaint."

Stephanie is great to communicate with in the office, and Miles is an awesome technician and person. If you are looking for a honest and dependable company, then I would try Cool Change. Adding to my initial review now… we just had a mini split HVAC install done by them, and it was absolutely a great experience. Michael and Santos both were awesome, answered my questions and concerns, professional, and got it done very quickly. I would definitely recommend Cool Change if you need a new install as well!"
