"My home had an HWA (home warranty of America) service contract and HWA used Raleigh HVAC Experts (RHE). Last summer our heat pump could not keep the upstairs below 78 degrees on hot days. The Raleigh HVAC Experts told me that these units were not made for temperatures above 90 degrees so we just had to live with it. Some days it was 79 degrees, no matter how low we set the AC. This summer the heat pump compressor stopped working so we got a new unit at the end of June. This took over a week, but it worked for a day or two. They came back out and fixed it. Fifteen days ago it stopped working again - no heat and no AC. They took several days to come out and when they did they said it was a Freon leak and they would have to come back in a few days to find the leak. They came out and said they could tighten a valve where it was leaking and said it was a manufacturer's defect. They over tightened the valve and it broke so no heat or AC. They said they needed to order a new valve but no feedback on how long that would take. We got another HVAC company that fixed it."
