"Tuck pointing and concrete resurfacing on front porch absolutely unacceptable. Tuck pointing is sloppy, and several areas were not even touched. The concrete resurfacing began to crack within 24 hours. Doug Davidson promised he would come back to rectify the issues. I believed him and trusted him. I even gave him a few side jobs to do because he said he had no jobs lined up, and no income. He asked for money to buy materials.I gave him $50.00 and he bought 2 items that cost right around $20.00 plus tax. He left over a 3 inch scratch on my front door, and cracked a patio paver block, both of which he said he would repair, but did not. He kept the rest of the money. After many phone calls and 6 months of promises he told me I was harassing him and he was not coming back. When a County Commissioner contacted him on my behalf, he was told the work he did was not guaranteed and said he was done with me. After a week or so passed he called and left me a message asking if I wanted him to come and repair the concrete "like he always wanted to". I don't believe he knows from one day to the next what he says. I have pictures and chunks of broken concrete to prove his handy work. My husband and I are senior citizens and my husband is a disabled veteran. Such a disgrace. I will do my best to share this experience with anyone and everyone who will listen. If I can prevent just one other individual from being taken advantage of, I will have done my job."
