"Joel at Omega auto does NOT stand behind his work. I went to Omega Auto to get my 2006 Dodge Ram worked on. He inspected it and determined it needed a new engine. He quoted me just over $13,000 dollars. After i received my truck i went to OHIO and broke down in the middle of nowhere. It turns out he reinstalled my old starter motor (on the new engine) and it cost me $600 to hire a mechanic to buy and install the new starter motor out in the middle of nowhere. The starter motor was in two pieces and only hanging on loosely by one bolt instead of all the bolts. I went to Omega Auto 2 days later and asked for a reimbursement. He refused. I decided not to use his services, however more problems with the engine started to surface. After only 7,000 miles a ticking noise developed. Since he was the installer of the motor i took it to him to look at. He refused to look at it but commented "it sounds like a diesel should". 10,000 miles in I took it to have an oil change. The mechanic there comes back and tells me it has a blown head gasket. I decided to try Omega Auto again, and again he refused. Since the previous two episodes (1st the starter motor and 2nd the ticking noise) were not pleasant conversations , I reluctantly decided to go get my warranty details but this time protected myself with a body cam. Again, he refused to look at the motor and instead went on a personal tirade saying I had personal problems. Pics below are from that event. Since he refuses to service the engine that he selected and installed, it forces me to go to another shop in which they know nothing of the install or the extent of the damage. Further, most don’t want to work with Jasper because their warranty is not a full warranty plus other issues of quality. Since Joel doesn’t back up his work, this will put greater expense on me because I will have to pay another mechanic up front, and hope for a decent partial refund from Jasper. They may even refuse and blame the installer and put me in the middle. I further learned from another mechanic that Jasper and other manufacturers are aware of this head problem and have upgrades. I was not consulted on these upgrades or even made aware of this issue until talking to other experts. So Joel had to of known that he was installing an engine with a known design problem, specifically expanding head bolts, and installed it anyways. I did not receive a consultation on either engine options or about the warranty. My opinion is that Joel’s knowledge on diesel engines is questionable, and his service and his treatment of his customers is absolutely terrible. He wouldn’t even look me in the eye when I tried to have a decent conversation with him. I went to Omega auto with a truck with an engine problem, I still have an engine problem, but I’m now $13,000 in the hole. I do not recommend."

"Joel and Amanda are absolutely amazing! My 05 dodge 3500 was sitting at another business that couldn’t find the time to even look at. I called Omega and they were open and honest about their schedule and how soon they could get to it. The next day they took care of getting it towed to their shop and then worked with Jasper transmissions for the warranty details. They kept me in the loop about timelines, other things I should consider getting repair while the transmission was out, other non related issues they saw, etc. once the work was done we went for a ride together to make sure everything felt ride. The truck definitely drives better and I honestly don’t know that they could do more to make the experience better. The customer service and ease of doing business is incredible. I will definitely go back to them if I have any problems in the future."

"Everyone there is super friendly and honest. Joel has taken care of my keep twice now. Both times he knew exactly what it was and had everything fixed in a very timely matter. I highly suggest his shop to everyone and know I won’t be going anywhere else."

"I have gone through here several times now. I cannot speak highly enough about the service. We have used them for our Jeep compass because they had the knowledge and made a lasting first impression. I took my Mini Cooper recently, and they surpassed themselves from my last experience. The turnaround time was amazing and made no inconvenience. They ordered the tires and brakes while on the phone with us and had the Mini prepped up for the moment the items arrived. My wheels had been scuffed (real bad) from the previous owner and they made them look new again. I wish I had the before pictures for comparison! They showed me what the old brakes looked like, and talked me through extra information about Coopers to watch for. I know we will be going through them for our diesel as well. I have found a local business that I plan to keep as my auto repair place for life."
