"Bergen Repair did an outstanding job of repairing Hardiboard porch siding that was not correctly installed. The guys showed up, understood what needed to be done, verified what I wanted to be done, and finished the entire job in 2 hours. They had the experience, tools, and confidence that I see lacking in a lot of contractors today. No creativity, confusion, or lack of decision making. I'm so confident in this company, I asked to hand out their business cards to neighbors. We are all going to have repairs sooner or later...Pete and his crew have this down. It's nice to trust someone to carry the ball over the finish line, especially when you don't understand the game (construction)."

"Had siding on total exterior replaced and repainted last summer. They also replaced and repaired rotted trim pieces. Pete always stayed in touch throughout the project. The people who actually did the work were excellent! I love the way it turned out and the price ended up being reasonable and in line with the estimate. Sorry I took so long to post."

"Posted an original review 06/10/19 but revising it today with a five-star. Initially had trouble contacting Bergen’s Contracting & Repair but was able to get that all sorted out as Pete reached out to me on the 10th & we setup an appointment for Friday 06/14/19. So glad to have heard back from him because he really knows his stuff. He called when he was about 30 minutes out to advise on his way. Went over in detail the items I was requesting a quote on: replace broken boards on back fence, replace a few sections of damaged vinyl siding, discussed leak in front windows first floor, options to replace or repair damaged aluminum porch column base wrap. We discussed a few other concerns I had (issue with side gate and some other minor items) and he was able to explain everything to me in detail. I had concern how the porch column wraps would be repaired or replaced and he was able to break down for me how he best thought it would need be done. Very pleased with the level of knowledge from Pete and the time he took with me reviewing everything at my home. He advised it would be about 2 business days for the estimate which I expect to have by tomorrow. Just from the time he spent here I feel I’ll be in extremely capable hands. Pete is definitely an expert in his work and a great choice to contact."

"I'm very satisfied with Pete's work. This was the second time I used his great team. The crew was courteous and was very careful to make sure my dog and cat didn't sneak out as they walked in and out. The replaced two bathroom windows. One of the bathroom windows was leaking from a defect in the original construction. The old plywood around the window needed to be replaced. They checked everywhere they saw mold or damage from the 18 year leak. Yes 18 years. The builders did several repairs that never lasted more than a couple years. Great clean up and Peter responded to my questions and concerns with great patients. I also want to put a plug in for Carolina Home Transformers, LLC. Jerry put the final touch on the repairs by installing a new gutter and downspout. He even did a quick repair to my fence door hinge. He noticed it and just offered to do it free. Amazing service."
