"One of my buddies recommended I go see Paul at Hawks, I was a little hesitant because I live in Jersey and his shop is in Staten Island, between the gas and tolls I didn’t think it was worth it, but boy was I wrong. A little background about my issue, I have had this issue with my 2003 jeep wrangler for almost 6 months now where it will start up but then die randomly. I went to countless mechanics in Jersey and no one could figure it out. You name it, I’ve replaced it. Within an hour of having my vehicle Paul already knew the problem, it was my crankshaft positioning sensor. He replaced it in no time, for a very fair price, and got me back up and running. It’s been about a month now and I have not had any issues with my wrangler. Needless to say, I will be going back and bringing all my family’s vehicles to him! Both Paul and Henry (his business partner) are very knowledgeable, polite, and really works with you. They make you feel like family when you are there and they explain every detail of the repair. To me that means a lot for someone that doesn’t know a thing about cars.
