"I did a magic sleek treatment to tame frizziness and roughness and had a great experience with Johnny. He was thorough and precise and clearly very experienced. I had a bunch of questions and everyone at the salon was patient and pleasant. My hair turned out so soft, sleek, and shiny and all of the unruliness was gone. Would highly recommend! Although this was my first extensive hair treatment here, I’ve been regularly getting basic haircuts at this salon for ~8 years, and I was shocked at reading some of the bad reviews about employees getting upset at 20% tips. Over the years I’ve gotten haircuts from multiple stylists here and NEVER saw any of them act rude about tips, either towards myself or other customers. All of them have been very grateful and polite. Just during this last visit I saw someone leave behind a three dollar tip in coins and none of the workers said anything negative to them. Of course I can’t speak for every single stylist working here, just that my experience for 8 years has been positive every time."

"I had a great experience at Xinyu. Xinyu is located at a very convenient location. I and my girlfriend went to Xinyu to get a haircut for both of us after lunch at Flushing downtown. We both like our haircut. The salon is very clean. And obviously the owner cares a lot about the business and actively improves their service by working on their customers’ feedback. I think this will go a long way. I will be back to Xinyu for my next haircut."
