"The barber who cut my hair didnt listen to my request and cut my sides way too long and cut the back way to high. i also asked for a eyebrow slit and he literally cut the whole half of my eyebrow off like what? there is a language barrier and I definitely feel like they should work on that since its not only chinese people that come throughout . NEVER TRUST ASIANS WITH BOOSIE FADES. No but in all seriousness, these staffs should definitely get with the trends since the area around them have younger people coming in. Or at least learn terms to help them improve with customer service, not in a racist way."

"I haven’t done anything to my hair (besides the yearly trim) in about two years now and wanted to refresh my balayage. I had my first balayage done at Xcellent from my virgin black hair. Although the outcome was ok, I didn’t like how they teased my hair and then aggressive brush out the knots while my hair was wet. Not to mention $$$$$ A friend recommended this spot, and I figured I give it a try. Sam worked with me to decide which color would be best for me and I was very happy with the results. I was always debating whether I want my safe brown caramel color or go lighter. Sam went with the lighter color and it turned out great. One star off for getting everything wet. One of his team member was washing my hair and forgot to put a towel around my neck while washing my hair so the back of my shirt was soaked. It was also raining and the ceiling was leaking by the front where my coat was hanging so the arm sleeve also got completely soaked… Butttt for the work they did and their great price, I would still highly recommend this spot for color treatments!"
