"My experience with this shop has ticked me off and left me traumatized. I will never go back there. I've been to this shop before and was serviced by the owner Samir. On this particular day, I was serviced by the young lady Asa. I've been using the same hair and brand for Crochet Braids. She left tangles all through the hair and separated the strands and wasn't supposed to. Then she put a lot of Mousse on it and I never put Mousse on my hair. I went home and tried to untangle the hair and to no avail I called her and told her that I needed to come back so she can fix it. While she goes through my hair, she low key assautled me by snatching my hair, but I let her continue because I almost would've ended up at the Police Department, but I let it slide. And she blamed it on the hair. I had a TV Appearance the next day and a Photo Shoot. She took all of the hair out and I went home with just Cornrows. And yes, because of this, I missed the TV Appearance and the Photo Shoot. I am suffering emotional distress, nightmares and pain in my head from where she snatched my hair. I am so upset at all of this. Not to mention all the money I lost on this situation."

"I wish I had taken a picture. 1. tried to change the price on me from 120 to 160 when I pushed back like you cant change up on me - she said oh next time next time. 2 . I tried to tell them how my hair needs to be braided at this short length and she told me "I know my job I know my job" then proceeded to do what she wanted and my hair fizzed out of the braid. The end if my real hair was sticking out of a bunch if braids IN THE FRONT which I warned against my hair is fuzzy like that but you didn't listen 3. My hair is short so the good box braids are really mini corn rows so they hold... within a week a hand full of braids fell out /slipped out because there was only a shallow grip on the hair at the root (see no. 2) and the end of my hair popped out and weren't really braided in. 4. The goopy stuff she used at the root corroded and dragged a bunch of my hair out when I took it out.the edges twisted like they do but then popped at they part when it took it out. After a month I looked like a muppet had to take them out. The GOOD thing thus the star was that the woman was very very fast maybe 3 hours not even 4. This is good but the technique is too important. I would have preferred another hour or 2 to get it right in some braids that last."

"I love it the women are really nice.... but the braids are super tight even if tell them before hand not to do them too tight... also they do have a habit of just doing their own thing I say short and it's long I say big braids its medium but they do come out nice."

"If I could give less stars I would. I called the day before to make an appointment and get more information about services and pricing. I walked in. She was using the bathroom and so the other woman in the shop just gave me the hand as if I was supposed to wait. she looked at me without even saying hello, and told me my hair was "too short, sorry" without even hesitating or trying to accommodate me. Horrible customer service/dirty salon."
