"I try to refrain from leaving negative reviews but this is frustrating. I made an appointment for 10 AM on 11/18 at House of Hair. I even received a follow up confirmation via text! I’ve been here before and I really enjoy my stylist. I get to the salon on time and IT’S CLOSED. The hours posted on the door even say they open at 9:30 AM. That’s a lie clearly. I’m currently writing this while getting my hair done at another natural hair salon nearby. I have my graduation photos today and if I wasn’t able to grab another appointment I would have had to cancel that appointment too! Ugh, such a shame. Please be mindful of appointment times in the future."

"I came with a groupon for relaxer, deep condition, and hair cut I was treated the same as if I was paying full price. My hair has never looked so good. I can’t stop smiling! Two weeks later, the relaxer has my hair laid for days and the cut is the perfect length. I also got a lot of hair tips that are definitely making a big difference."

"Lisa was wonderful from start to finish. She took her time, gave me advice, and her experience with hair definitely shows. She even took the extra time to make sure everything looked right after she had already finished. I was very pleased with the outcome. The owner was also very warm and welcoming and helped me get the right products. Looking forward to my next visit. Edit: Made an appointment several days ago with a particular stylist. Took time out of my day and off work to come in, only to be told that that stylist was no longer working there. Would have appreciated a phone call instead of coming all the way in, will likely go elsewhere now."

"I love Lisa P. But, the owner is a trip. On their website they advertised a special 3 natural styles for $150. I'm told oh the website was not updated. Ummmmm whose fault is that? How do you fail at updating your website and then say you're giving me a discount. Uhhhh no you're supposed to give me a discount anyways because I just referred someone. That is fine. I will never return because obviously she does not value their customers."
