Reviews
"For the past few years I have sought out many different vintage stores in many different places. This L train store has the best combination of selection and price I have experienced. The prices are extremely fair, sometimes close to thrift store prices. Quite rare for a vintage store. I think this store in particular has a more curated selection than the other L train stores around it."
"I like it There used to be a lot more places like this. And then now they're kind of gone. At least this place is still pretty decent and very big. You should totally go here if you have an hour of free time."
"Caveat: there are two distinct stores, both called L train Vintage, but there is only one business page for both. This review is for the small side. One side is huge with relatively acceptably priced clothes. The other side is small and they charge comically absurd amounts of money for these clothes. I genuinely thought it was a joke at first, like I was being pranked. $175 for a Carhartt jacket that I could buy new for $125. Ratty T shirts for $50. It’s not like this place is a curated selection, and there’s nothing unique about the clothes. They buy pallets of clothing, big 6x6’ cubes of clothes all compressed together. Yeah, they sort it and tag it. But they hang it as is, wrinkled and grimy. Listen, I’m not even mad about it. That’s capitalism, baby. But it doesn’t mean it’s a good store or worth it as a consumer. It’s a gentrifier trap, but it must be working."
"Impressive selection of vintage clothes. I thought some items were maybe overpriced for the condition they were in, but the majority of the items were in good condition overall."
"Lots of variety and a cool vibe. Shoes and coats and hats oh my. Girl found a coat for 25 that was hundreds new. Friendly service and laid back."
