"One word, GREEDY. I bought an outfit here a WEEK ago. I ended up not using it, so I went to exchange it. The manager and his son were acting like it was from somewhere else when the EXACT same outfit is hanging right there and it is in a Sanskriti bag. Keep in mind it can't even fit me because I was going to get it altered. It is completely unused. When I walked in, they began asking for a receipt, which is understandable except I NEVER received a receipt. They INTENTIONALLY DO NOT GIVE RECEIPTS. The owner began *yelling* at the top of his lungs and screaming at me and my parents in Hindi, making a scene to the point where everyone in the store was looking at us .When I said I never got a receipt, his response was "THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE". They have absolutely no business etiquette. My entire family and I have been buying from here for literally years. We've spent thousands there at this point. Sorry to say they won't be getting another cent. Extreme cheap skates and very greedy. Just happy to pocket the money and get you out of there. I wasn't even asking for a refund, just an exchange. What's even worse is that this was on Diwali with bhajans playing in the background. They shouldn't bother playing religious music if they're going to treat people this way and scam them. Terrible way to treat LOYAL customers. There's so many other places to go to. Don't waste your time."

"I’ve been shopping at Sanskriti for the last 17 years and the quality of clothing is just amazing. They have a wonderful murti selection and the staff are very humble and friendly."

"The worst experience I’ve ever had. My aunt purchased kids clothing and a bunch of pooja items for my cousins wedding. We went with measurements for my other cousins kids and bought two lehengas just last week. Took it to Florida for the kids to try and the sizing was as completely wrong, it was way too big for the girls. I went back and requested to exchange the size. The owner is a nasty a double s..he even said I didn’t purchase it from him but the girl who worked there verified they sold it to me…none of the outfits had tags when I bought them so why would it have tags when I exchange them? I left with the outfits and will not be returning customers. We have a lot of events coming up and will be in need of these items but I will visit a better business like Anjees where they are much kinder and offer more help."

They all praised the store and especially the customer service. Everyone is very patient and listen to what you want and they also gave great feedback. "This place has very lovely Indian clothes. They are of a higher end and tend to be trendy. They have really nice outfits for children as well. Many of their fancy Indian clothes always have alot of bead work and /or embroidery so you will take home a piece that is very much worth what you paid. The bridal selected is gorgeous. Each time I have gone I have had a different saleswoman and they are always helpful."
