"If I was rating my child’s pediatrician solely, I would give this 5 stars (Dr. Dupuy is amazing and should start his own practice so we can all escape these ridiculous office policies). However, this office is incredibly difficult to work with. I tried calling to schedule an appointment for my child, who has a non-serious issue but worthy of a future-scheduled appointment, and was told they only make same day appointments. I explained that was difficult to do, as I need time to take off for work. They refused to allow me to schedule an actual appointment with my child’s pediatrician, citing the reason is that it’s a policy implemented by the providers. Now, I’m in a place where I’m going to have to transition to a new pediatric office because this policy doesn’t support working families nor does it support the children/patients - I mean what kind of doctors office doesn’t allow you to schedule appointments with their doctor ahead of time?"
"I’ve been going to FV PEDS for 28 years now. Lynn is the very best! She is fun, super easy to talk to, my kids love her and I trust her opinion 100%! Dr. Dupuy is also amazing if you’re looking for a male provider!"
"I wanted to share my personal positive experience at Fuquay pediatrics. For the last 21 years I have been going to this practice and unfortunately, I recently had my last appointment here and I am so sad to go. I cannot recommend Dr. Dupuy, Dr. Durand and Dr. Shoffner enough, you can see their passion and expertise for medicine, and they are who inspired me to pursue a medical career as well. I never felt rushed at this clinic and was always welcomed with my many questions. The doctors truly take time to sit down and get to know you and I just hope to find a practice that also cares that much. Unfortunately, people are more inclined to leave negative reviews about staff, policy problems and wait times, but what you are truly going there for is the medical care and you will not find any better. I would highly recommend having your child established here :)"
"I just want to start by saying that I take full responsibility for being late to an appointment, and understand why there is a late policy. That being said, I was sure my child was scheduled for 8:30 but my appointment was in fact at 8:20. I showed up at 8:31 having no idea I was late and was told I had 4 minutes to fill out a form. I was confused but began to fill it out. Just as I was about to sign and date the form the receptionist informed me I was out of time and would need to reschedule. Uh what?? I asked her what was going on and she explained I had missed the 15 minute grace period and that my appointment was at 8:20. Confused, I checked my phone for the appointment reminder and sure enough she was right. I tried to explain that I had just marked down the wrong time in my calendar, she wouldn’t budge. I get it. So my real issue here was that I was still there before my “grace period” ended and lost my appointment because I didn’t fill out a form quick enough? I was literally was down to a signature! This was very petty and humiliating. I even checked our portal the night before to make sure all forms were filled out and they were, so this was completely on them and should have been included in my appointment time. Also, anytime I’ve been given a form, they’ve let me take it back with me if I didn’t finish before being called. Why would this be different? I’ve always been on time (usually early) in the past, and we’ve never missed an appointment accept when my daughter had Covid 2 years ago, but still called to cancel. However, we were treated as though we have been a problem in the past. Also, every time we come, aside from a few providers, the staff is always unfriendly. Today was no exception, and made the experience that much worse. We’ve also had many issues with moving records and accessing our patient portal. But that’s a whole other story. Needless to say, this was my last straw and we will be looking for a new practice."
"Office staff here are incredibly inconsiderate and rude. They like to play games with their patients to see if they can fill out their paper work in time (it was JUST an updated info paper, not even a consent form), and if not, they won’t let them back for their appointment. Even though they arrive within their grace period. I would highly recommend staying far away from here."
