The ladies behind the plastic veil of the counter conjure up some of the most remarkable homestyle food in all of Bushwick. "La Abuelita consistently makes very delicious Mexican food :] The kitchen's in the back, the front's a deli with fresh tropical fruits and produce, and there's also yummy pastries like thres leches cakes! the outdoor seating area to the right is a nice hang out space. I really like the wholesome atmosphere of this mom-and-pop shop, the family working here is very nice. Highly recommend to anyone passing by."
