"Dr. Uma is fantastic! As a first time mom, I wasn't sure what I was looking for in a pediatrician but I knew I wanted someone who would be there for my child and take the time to answer all of my new mom questions and calm my nerves. The fact that she is independent means that we can schedule appointments around my schedule and I'm not having to wait with my new baby in a waiting room with 60 other sick kids. She even has equipment, like scales, that we can rent from her, to make sure our baby is gaining weight at home. I was so worried about breastfeeding and all the ups and downs that come from it but when I realized that Dr. Uma was a certified lactation consultant that sealed the deal for me. She took the time at our first visit to go through a feeding with me to check my baby's latch, my hold, and even weighed him before and after so I could see the weight gain to ease my fears that he wasn't getting enough to eat. She even let me rent a breast feeding pillow from her since I was struggling with the boppy brand. She takes the time to ask after me and my husband and every visit it's like meeting with a friend. I'm never stressed about taking my baby into her, even on days when we have to vaccines. She's quick and it was over before my baby could really get worked up about the experience. I can't imagine taking my child to a crowded doctor's office ever again. And the fact that she operates on a payment plan makes life so much easier. Won't be taking my little man anywhere else!"
