Le Blonde By Elias and Vlad

"Vlad and Elias are very personable, pleasant, professional, knowledgeable. Absolutely love THEM and their services. Been going to them for about a year or so and had built such a good rapport. Have even referred my family AND friends to them who mutually feel the same. Wish I could say the same about the rest of their staff. Please AVOID their employee *EDWIN* AT ALL COSTS. * DO NOT LET HIM GO NEAR YOU* During my wash, water was way too hot and he got me soaking wet. I kept telling myself “its okay its okay, he’s almost done” until I couldnt anymore and spoke up. I respectfully asked him to lower the water temperature and instead got a rather rude response from him. Then as he proceeds to rinse my hair he starts to scrape my scalp and pull at my hair in a forceful way. I had enough and asked him to stop because at this point he had already given me a headache. He got upset and started yelling at me infront of the other customers and eventually stormed out of the salon. Elias kindly jumped in and finished my wash and Vlad proceeded to finish my hair. After the rather unpleasant experience I opted to leave him a tip which he very publicly rejected infront of other customers and made a few comments while at it too. Vlad and Elias saw the whole thing unfold and apologized to me, they know what happened. This caused me to feel embarrassed, uncomfortable and disrespected. I sadly will not be returning unless Edwin is gone for good. I’m taking the time to write this for others to not experience what I experienced and if you choose to come here you will be in great hands as long as you avoid Edwin (curly hair hispanic man) On a positive note- LOVE VLAD AND ELIAS AND WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO MY HAIR ! I hope this doesn’t push anyone away because THEM two are truly GREAT!"

"Will never go back. Been a loyal customer of Elias'. Never told me he raised his prices 40.00. Mind you I have short curly hair. He has been double booking himself. Last time shampoo girl put color on my hair. He didn't mix the right color. Nobody could tell I got my haircut or colored. Left a message about my concerns and didn't even get a call back."

"I recently moved back to Long Island from PA( and had tried a few salons that I was not pleased with) but now I have found my favorite! Had my hair highlighted and cut with Vlad and the color come out perfect, I can't stress how beautiful it looks! The cut is beautiful, although shorter than I wanted and can't figure out how to get bangs they way he did, that is not his fault but mine. I felt welcomed from everyone in salon from the minute I walked in. Receptionist was warm and friendly. I cannot say enough nice things about everyone I encountered there and would highly recommend this salon to everyone and anyone needing a salon day."
