"I came in to get a part shave and trim. The back of my head was messed up after many barbers misinterpreted what I wanted and Rosie fixed it up. I went with no appointment after the groupon I got for another salon was rejected. Was in a bad mood but felt so much better once she took care of me. I love my hair!"

"I have been here a total of three times and all three times there was something that made me uncomfortable. I live in the area and kept giving it a chance in hopes of it getting better. They do decent work but my biggest issue is the customer service. They constantly change the price throughout the service and I would go as far to say they discriminate against people of color. My last visit I went in for a blowout and a younger brunette woman, unprompted, told me my color wasn't great (after I informed her I didn't get it done there) and that I should let them fix it. I was really happy with my color and found it uncalled for. I denied her suggestion. Then she noticed I just had a mani/pedi done and asked to see my nails and then said "You should come here instead." After my blowout, she spoke directly to the stylist (Rosa, I believe) and said "Do her roots next time" - again, I did not go in for color nor did I have a desire to touch up my roots. I walked out feeling completely judged from head to toe. I have not gone back since and don't plan to."

"I’ve been going to Rita’s ever since the fall for my haircuts with Albina (who I love). She knows how to cut my type 2B/C curls. On and off I consulted with Ella to get Pro Addiction on my hair to tame the frizziness, reduce daily maintenance, improve styling outcomes and promote healthy hair growth. I decided to go all in and I’ve already noticed a difference in the amount of shedding. I’m so happy with my hair. Even in just a week I’ve got so much more time back in my routine and I can’t wait to see how much my hair looks as time goes on. "I recently got my nails done and honestly I loved it. My nail artist was Margaret (i think thats her name) and she was so sweet and gentle. Not once did I feel uncomfortable. All the staff was very sweet. Compared to other places, their gel manicures are amazing. Not too thick of an application and the way she trimmed my cuticles. I loved it ♥️ after she was done I was so happy I wanted to give her a hug. Ella was also very accommodating and explained to me the different manicures available. Very sweet and welcoming. Will be my go to salon for mani and pedis for sure!"
