"I was a patient here and she told me because its been so long I have to register as a new patient. In reality its been so long because my last visit there was something out of a horror movie and I haven’t been to ANY dentist since. I spent nearly 6 hours in a chair at Oak Orchard with a Dr that kept injecting novicane in the wrong spot until finally I couldn’t have anymore because they reached their limit. They never even told me they were doing a root canal just started going at it all of which I could feel because I was not numb. After ‘cleaning out’ my whole tooth they then said…. ‘We need to pull it.’ At that point I begged them to because I was in agony. I felt like I was in a horror movie quite literally. It scarred me so much I have been scared to go to any dentist since. Then I figured you know what? Its been a long time maybe I will give them another chance and they tell me they can’t take me because its been too long. DISGUSTING. Thank you guys for ruining my trust in Dentists. Thank you for then not even accepting me back when I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt that maybe things have changed. Clearly they haven’t."

"My doctor is awesome, but being able to get on the phone with anyone is impossible. I had my phone sitting on speakerphone while working and after an hour and 15 mins I still hadn’t reached anyone. For the last 20-30 mins of the call it said I was #1 in line. I even tried the “call me back” option but if you can’t answer because you’re working you end up waiting forever on the phone again anyway. I’ve never called and been able to reach someone in under 30 minutes."

"My son has gone to this practice for years. Medical services have always been good however dental services have taken a huge nose dive!! Patients are unable to be seen for their 6 month cleanings and are being scheduled once a year. How is this acceptable? If there are not enough dental hygienst to support this practice perhaps they should close this part of the business? Or merge with another company that can support the needs of the business. We all have sympathy for staffing shortages but this has been going on for some time now."

"It is so sad to see some of these reviews! It is clear people are not understanding of the understaffing issues especially when it comes to dental hygienists right now and expect to be seen 10+ minutes after their appointment time! I have been going to this practice my entire life both for medical and dental needs. This practice has gone out of their way to accommodate my schedule and squeeze me in if an emergency arose. The staff is ALWAYS wonderful even when they are super busy and phones are off the hook. They are understanding when issues come up and have no problem rescheduling as long as you provide proper notice. I wouldn’t even think of going to another practice for my PCP or dental needs :) Thank you guys for all that you do and I’m sorry others are not considerate of providers and staff time."

"Worst care and customer service: I had covid a while ago and called office. Got a call back from a Doctor I couldn’t understand. She offered to call in a script but I didn’t consent. Also said she would check back the next day. No check up call ever. I decided I needed the scrip and found out it was called in anyways to an RX I don’t use. Very inconvenient! Since then I have left messages through the their online form , called their admin office and sent a letter to corporate office complaining. I also contacted through Facebook. (Appears they remove comments by the way). EVERY contact I made were ignored. I never heard from anyone. Incidentally, I was a patient when Dr Obear owned her own practice. I thought I’d stay on when she merged with Orchard. I have left and gone to the new Rochester Regional Health and am very pleased."
