"I've had 3 Russian manicures done by Barno and she is so lovely, patient and skilled. It does take 2+ hours. My nails are perfect every time and are stronger/longer than ever. All other staff I've met is friendly, you definitely feel warm in this place. Ive met Lianna and she is lovely as well. Clean immaculate modern place and many color options for nails. 10/10 experience!"

"First time splurging at a salon and my hair is ruined. I asked for a balayage and she disregarded that, she(secondary hair lady?)gave me highlights which I was okay with getting but not only is my hair fried now but is yellow and is so choppy?? Extremely unblended which I didn't notice until I took the first shower at home. Lady was nice but she did not know what she was doing. This ruined my curly healthy hair I had before for what,300?? Someone please explain"

"EDIT 4/29/2022 Okay, I’ve left a 5 star review a year ago for my waxing services by the wonderful Seema. However I have to adjust it to a two now because of a hair cut. I recently went in as a walk in for a hair cut. I have gotten my hair cut by Dahlia before and it was fine, this time it was an older blonde woman. I didn’t ask for Dahlia since I was okay with anyone since I wanted just a short cut. The woman was really nice, she said I needed to wash my hair and so I did. When I sat on her chair I told her I wanted a short shoulder length I showed her a picture and she said ‘long layers’. I thought she understood the assignment, she did not. The top layers of my hair are short, she didn’t take into consideration of my hair type, even though I said oh I have thick wavy hair. All the cuts were done so quick and straight. I said to not cut the layers on the top too much, she said she saw the picture and she knows what she’s doing. Also, the lady was very nice! Very friendly. I was just nervous and anxious as it was happening. When the cutting was done I told her I might need some thinning since my hair was thick and I might look like a triangle. She first said I didn’t need it but after a blow dry she agreed with me. The thinning process was painful. The scissors kept pulling my hair and it felt like it was done very quick and not carefully. So after everything was done, she blow dried it. She was good at it. My hair was smooth and shiny. However, my hair style wasn’t the best, I looked like Nancy Pelosi, or a rich Korean mother in Korean Dramas ( I’m 32, I don’t want to look like that yet). My hair will grow, I need a month or two for me to finally have nice decent hair. I am upset because I paid $60 for a style that I didn’t ask for. I usually give creative freedom to my stylist, but I didn’t this time. This is far from what I wanted. I paid a lot for something I didnt want. The woman was nice and I did tip her only cause I’m non confrontational. This is just a warning for anyone who needs to get a hair cut in the future. I won’t be going to this place anymore. POSTED IT ON JANET SALON BUT I MEANT D&L Beauty Salon I’ve started coming here for waxing post nyc quarantine and I’ve been really happy. I do my waxing with Seema and she’s so wonderful! She’s friendly and easy to talk to so it distracts from the pain when my hair is being ripped out of my skin. This place is clean and disinfected, so it makes me feel safe. I also got a haircut from Dalia and she’s amazing. I have wavy and frizzy hair and she was really accommodating to my hair type and provided with more information. Would recommend this place 100% to everyone!"

"Repeatedly going.. I have been searching for a one stop Salon to get all my beauty need done from head to toe and this is it.. All the staff are very professional... I come often.. This place has all the professionals under one roof, either it be for haircut, eyebrows, waxing, pedi - mani and the price is very reasonable. They are very flexible with the appointment and accommodate me between my busy schedules... I get my waxing, threading done by Seema. The quality of care that she puts is superb! She is friendly and professional! Love coming here. Highly recommend! She does a wonderful job. Lola did my hair cut and highlights and she did a awesome job. Very friendly and professional. Yelena is does a nice job with mani - pedi. She is soft spoken and it's very relaxing to get mani-pedi done from her..."
