"I wish I could rate it a double zero. I WOULD PERSONALLY ADVISE THAT IF YOU LIKE TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT PLEASE DO NOT GO TO LASH STRUCK owner by GABRIEL. I went to this establishment to get my lashes done on 5/23/18. I had an appointment for 5 pm so I got there at 4:45 pm. Mind you I made this appointment online on 5/21/18. I got my email confirmation from PayPal and from the vendor informing me of the $20 down payment that was withdrawn from my account, the time and date of my appointment. Back to this so-called business Lash Struck. Thinking I was on time I worked in and asked for Gabriel (the lash installer), I was told by Paula a lady who has a stylist chair at the salon that Gabriel works at a Law firm in Long Island and had not left work yet. Immediately I knew that was a bad sign. I knew it would take her more than 15 mins to get to the establishment. I was told by Paula to reach out to Gabriel which I did but wasn’t successful at the time. I text her twice and called 3 times which went straight to voicemail. First off, the salon is located @1455 Fulton Street Brooklyn, NY 11216 in a sketchy neighborhood. This salon doesn’t look clean nor hygienic enough to get lashes installed in anyone’s eyes. Like I mentioned earlier, Paula is a stylist which means she does hair and particles of hair are going to fly around which can drop into one’s eyes. Eventually, I got Gabriel on the phone at about 5 pm. Gabriel informed me that she canceled my appointment because she sent me a text at 6 am on 5/23/18 to confirm my appointment. She said since she didn’t get a response she canceled at about 4 pm. I then said to her that I got a confirmation email from the day the appointment was made which is how online appointment works. You make an appointment; the vendor takes your money and then you get a set confirmation stating the time and date of the appointment. Sometimes you may get a reminder the day before or on the day of the appointment. I have never heard or had to reply a personal text from a vendor in the past. Gabriel didn’t seem to get the logic but instead, she kept mentioning to me that she works at a law firm and so she needed confirmation. My question to her now was “Isn’t my money confirmation enough for you?” If I don’t show up for my appointment, then I lose my deposit plan and simple, but I arrived 15 mins a heard of time. Gabriel informed me that it would take her 1 hour and 10 mins to get to the Salon. I asked her if I could reschedule because I had to be else were. She said no but I could make another appointment for the next day at 8 pm. She also informed me that I would lose my first deposit and would have to make another deposit. Knowing she was at fault, didn’t seem to move her. At that point, I knew that I would never come back or send clients to her. I was upset as I should be and informed her that I would wait for her to get to the salon. Paula was so disappointed at Gabriel customer service skills that she picked up the phone and called her. She spoke to Gabriel for about 5 mins telling her, that that wasn’t a good business practice on her part. After waiting for 1-hour plus, I decided to call PayPal to get my deposit back for services not rendered. They have placed the deposit on hold and are going to do an investigation. I have text messages and recording the of the conversation I had with Gabriel which I informed PayPal of. BOTTOM LINE IS, GABRIEL WILL KEEP LOSING CLIENTS IF SHE DOESN’T CHANGE HER MENTALITY FROM SCAM ARTIST TO A RESPECTFULLY BUSINESS OWNER."
"Rose is amazing! My mother went to her first, and it took me a while to actually get there but when I got there I was pleaseeedd! I am really picky about how I want my hair done because people DO NOT follow directions, but she listened and did my hair exactly how I wanted it. I trust her to do it right every single time, and I have not had any complaints since. The other stylists know what they are doing too from what I've seen. Rose could be doing the hair of celebrities, and I am truly fortunate to have her as my hair stylist. A truly pleased customer "
