"I don’t usually leave reviews but this time I have to. I was getting hair coloring and cut. The staff was not welcoming or pleasant even though they were not busy. I picked medium brown for color and my hair turned out jet black. I hate it. I tried to mention it but was dismissed with annoyance. It’s not even close to the color I chose . While the hairdresser was cutting my hair he was engaged in a loud conversation with the other staff the entire time . Even walked away from me several times to look at stuff on their phone. Really unprofessional: I wonder if the boss is aware that’s how customers get treated . I will never set my foot in that place."

"EDIT: After several disappointing visits I sadly will not be returning back. Once they forgot to purchase pink dye even though I booked well in advance so they had to go out to get some while my hair was processing. Another time they completely missed the mark on the color I wanted. It came out a BRIGHT purple which wasn’t what I was going for (see pictures). The last time I went the hair stylist (I believe it was Andrew that’s been doing my hair the last few times) I wanted wasn’t even there and they didn’t have the pink dye on hand, again. I had booked the appointed about 2 weeks in advance, this wasn’t last minute. I came all the way from New Jersey, so this is over an hour drive for me. Taking time out of my day and looking forward to getting my hair done it was a very much of a let down. It was on a Sunday too so trying to find another salon as a walk-in is very difficult. The lady I spoke to (not the owner) that worked there was very apologetic but of course it’s not her fault. I found my last visit to be super unprofessional. Even though the price is affordable it’s just not worth it after time and time again I found this salon to be unreliable. ORIGINAL REVIEW: After a previous salon left my hair with uneven tones/shades and dyed my hair over orange bleached hair, I was left to find a new salon that would give me the pink hair I wanted and also knew how to fix my hair. And so I found this salon, they definitely did not disappoint! They were very flexible when I was running late and had to push the appointment an hour back. Jesse walked me through the entire process of what he was doing to my hair, example being he tested a strand of my hair to make sure I liked the shade of pink. And overall he was super, super sweet and polite throughout the entire process. He said I looked like a movie star when we were finished haha, such a kind compliment. Also, the price is super affordable, such a steal in Brooklyn considering it's an ombre. I actually came into the salon with the plan of getting a 'single process' (root touch up & one shade of pink) but Jesse suggested the idea of an ombre, that it would look more natural when my roots grow out and the color would be very pretty. I saw a picture from them here that was somewhat similar and liked it, so I went with it. I'm glad I did because although it was different from what I originally wanted, the look is growing on me and I really love it. Thank you to all the staff members for making my experience amazing & welcoming. Definitely coming here from now on, if you're looking to get your hair dyed especially pastel colors, please give this place a chance. I highly recommend this salon!"
