"I made a confirmed hair appt at the Amy salon at 9am with a hair braider name Michelle. I waited over an 1.5hr for Michelle. I told Amy to please contact Michelle and to provide me a ETA. Amy spoke to me very rudely with an absolutely nasty attitude, she then proceeded to tell me to go to another hair salon. I would not recommend this hair salon at all. They are not punctual with time of their customers appointments. I am writing this review because all of the employees were very unprofessional as i left they all wanted me to stay because they needed the business. My response to that question was “ I am leaving because Amy told me to go elsewhere to find someone to do my hair. This was my first time at this establishment and I will never come back again."

"The girl who did my hair ill give her 7 stars she did ok for her to be a newbie. However I feel like the owner was wrong because it was things she wasn't good at and instead of them helping her they aloud her to cut my hair and she was just chopping it up, they kept saying to her no do it like this, this is wrong if you know she need more training don't put her on the floor. What's sad is growing up I use to always go to Amy to get my hair done so when I came to town I went right back but never again"

"The ladies at Amy's African Hair Braiding never disappoint! My hair always comes out neat and isn't too tight. They can catch short hair. Prices are reasonable compared to other neighboring salons."

"Now this may not be the most glamorous braiding salon but I must say the women that worked are my hair were amazing. I came in at 2pm requesting small and long box braids. I was done by 11pm. One woman parted my hair started the braids while another added hair and finished the braid to the desired length. My parts are very neat, they are all the same size (even in the back), they didn’t hurt much, and if one took a break the other was still working on my head. They made a great time. I recommended this place to my close friend because of how well my hair was done. The woman that parted my hair was all the way in the back, she is of a lighter complexion, and had a gap between her front teeth. Her assistant was a tall lighter complexed younger woman. I they were both very kind to me and were gentle. I will definitely come back again!"

"Got lemonade braids done by the quote on quote slow woman & so glad that I allowed her to bless my head. She's a very talented braider, paying close attention to detail. Added bonus, my braids aren't tight & my head isn't throbbing. 2 thumbs up!"
