Shay London Beauty Bar

"I CAN’T BELIEVE what these folks did…. I walked into Shay London with a case of the birthday blues, I was greeted by a gentleman at the door who was very respectful and ushered me to a seat in their waiting area. I was about 20 minutes early (I don’t do late fees mkay.) And the stylist was able to take me in early. Now girl’s and boys this is where it gets crazy. The stylist washing my hair was Spanish fluent and didn’t speak much English, I wish I could have told her that she should start a church instead because I’m TELLING YOU, when she laid her hands on me, I knew a blessing was sure to come. I got a two strand twist and a wash and I didn’t look at my phone once. They had the experience down pat, those hands were light, usually I’m sore after a retwist so I don’t go often to get them, but they got a girl changing her mind. Half way through my head something went upside down. I don’t know if it was the divorce court episode that was on or the experience at the beauty bar, but I felt my cheeks slide up my face as my frown turned upside down. I no longer had the birthday blues, I felt in charge of my day, and good about myself and that’s worth more than they charge. When I left, I realized their whole secret was they to treat everyone like family, treat them like they came in as fresh as they’ll soon leave, and put love in their craft that anybody could feel.
