"This was the second year we did our taxes at this office, and we will never be using HR Block ever again. Our taxes were screwed up and we overpaid over $2000 dollars. After everything was fixed we were told we were actually getting a refund and didn’t owe any money. 5 months later and we’re still waiting to get some our money back. I have scheduled 5 phone appointments that no one has ever called me for. Every time I actually talk to someone they just say “we don’t know what’s wrong I will look into it and call you back.” Surprise! No call back ever! Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Do not use this office, or HR block in general. Updating my last review: 5 months later I FINALLY got answers after 5 blown off appointments and reaching out to a completely different office. Turns out not only were my taxes screwed up the first time, but I was misled the second time and told completely wrong information. Definitely will not be returning to H&R Block ever again."

"Gentleman who filed our taxes screwed our state return so badly. I’m surprised if our federal was even correct. We paid over $300 to have this man Robert do our taxes and now we are out $800. The district manager was able to do a reimburse for the state portion but it’s been a month and still no check in site. Contacting them is an absolute joke. Erica is rude and will just hang up on you if she doesn’t like what you have to say. Honestly take your business elsewhere cause your taxes will be wrong and they won’t make it right or contact you back at all."

"H&R Block's in person services have been fantastic both in Maine and in New York. I did my own taxes using online software for 15 years before turning to Block for help about 4 years ago. For every penny they charge they find me 5 more I never would have found on my own."

"worst place to get taxes done. they file your taxes and input things incorrectly and have had to fight them and irs and having to go through a longer process to get my returns. The most thing is why i am leaving a review is the unprofessional and the name calling and religious name calling i had to handle while on the phone more than once."
