"I WOULD NEVER ABSOLUTELY NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! ... overpriced! And a whole lot of other things.one of The things thats annoys me is the owners response to the reviews as if they really care, it's all about Money. Nearly 400 dollars for a cut and wash. 75 for consult I don't consider that a consultation, consultation done in-front of staff and other customers. Utterly disgraceful and uncomfortable at the consultation nothing was really talked about just "that's what you want ? Ok 400" ???? Now I'm aware my hair had heat damage, but it doesn't mean to to cut my hair completely uneven and shave it off like a maniac. The style I showed her looked nothing like what I wanted . I literally watched her rush threw my hair to attend to other costumers. I hated everything about my cut and because it had heat damage you could have said I don't think this cut will do let's try something else or come back when the damage is better or maybe I can cut it to remove the damage etc ,, your the professional! This was just a horrible exp what will eventually happen you will loose customers all you will be left with is your regulars. Please don't leave a feedback unless you refunded me my money. MY BIG CHOP COMPLETELY DESTROYED . NATURAL BEGINNINGS ? Beginning of hell"

"This is the best black natural hair salon in Mount Vernon. They took care of my wife's hair and it came out amazing. The customer service was top notch , served us some nice tea and were very helpful and attentive to details. Overall, it was a great service. I do highly recommend."

A thorough consultation was given to access my hair’s condition and the owner made sure I was heard and my wishes were granted. In addition I received herb tea, fresh juice, and sorrel while receiving my service. I felt so valuable. You know we are all valuable but we don’t always get treated in a special way.
