THE Hillsville Diner

"The Hillsville Diner is a town treasure and has been a much loved eating establishment for several decades. I got a bacon cheeseburger and French fries this trip. The hand-patted burger was cooked just right and was juicy and flavorful. The generous serving of golden French fries were delicious. The atmosphere is friendly and casual. They have many plate lunch options with a variety of sides along with sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs. They have phenomenal country breakfast until 10, too."

"10/10 dining experience! Came here for breakfast our first day and it was so delicious. The waiter was personable and pleasant and was very informative about the surrounding area. Will probably be coming back here for breakfast again and may try out its lunch and dinner! (p.s. the hotcakes are HUGE)"

"Went in to the Hillsville Diner based on these google reviews. If you’re looking for food that tastes like Grandma’s, this is it. My pork tenderloin could have came out of Mommaw’s skillet. The home fries were crunchy and no- nonsense yummy. Gravy was dressed up with pepper. But the quaint little place has one thing other places don’t: Excellent service!! Four different people checked on us and all of them had charm and humor to go with the coffee refills. I hear their hotcakes are amazing. Definitely, I recommend this very great value place and ask you please to not skip the pork tenderloin breakfast!!"
