Dr. Keithe Shensky, MD

"My original immunotherapy doctor left Novant but highly recommended Dr. Shensky as a replacement doctor. I have been totally impressed with Dr. Shensky’s bedside manner, her knowledge of my cancer and her caring attitude. She told me from the start that I would not have anymore chemo. That we would be looking forward not backwards for my cancer treatments. If she could not figure out what to do with me she would send me to Chapel Hill or Duke. She gave me options I did not have before. My cancer is rare and there is no cure for it. Having immunotherapy is giving me the chance to extend my life. Immunotherapy is not easy to go through because the side effects are brutal. Having Dr. Shensky as my oncologist has been great. My Tumors have shrunk and my cancer marker blood test numbers have dropped. She will hold off giving me treatments until they see growth in my tumors and my cancer marker blood test goes back up. I praise God every day that there are doctors like Dr. Shensky that take the time to learn about my cancer and what to do to treat it."
