I walked in her office with a list of questions that I wanted answered and when she sat down to talk to my husband and me, by the time she was finished she had addressed every single question on my list before i asked anything. "What a blessing to have Dr.Gentile as our surgeon. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and we walked into the office with a lot of emotions, fear and unknowns. We returned back with calmness and confidence. Dr.Gentile patiently and thoroughly explained the disease and the treatment options. She helped in creating a plan and her associate helped in setting up appointments. While the doctor is great, the Novant Health system itself needs a lot of improvement as one office don’t see the doctor’s availability in another office. Even if marked urgent, the system has no room for urgent lab tests. Most of the appointments would take 1-2 weeks and we are hoping the administration improves the systems to reduce the anxiety of patients and their families and support the urgent needs of our community."

"Dr. Gentile and lovely and thorough. She was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions at my consultation. However, the nursing staff was very unkind. I called to ask a question and she acted as if she was bothered. At the end of the conversation I said to have a good day and before I could finish she hung up the phone without notice. Definitely do not appreciate that customer service."
