"I have been searching for a CPA to help with some direction in regards to taxes and filings for my small business. This was my first year and I was trying to find some advice and direction and reached out via email to convey the issues and questions at hand clearly. I received a strange “I’m not sure how you got my name” reply (I searched Google and their website) but was still offered a virtual appointment to “help point me in the right direction” with a couple of dates and times to schedule for this week despite the holidays. I responded immediately with my availability to schedule for today around 12:45/1:00 as offered. I received no confirmation back from them but figured maybe they’d reach back out the day of to confirm and get the info needed from me to make it happen. That never happened and it’s now well past the time frame I’d requested with still no contact back from anyone nor has any virtual meeting has taken place. They’re located close to my neighborhood and I was hoping to have found someone nearby that I can use as a routine point of contact for business questions but considering the lack of communication is unprofessional and found questioning where I got their name from was a bit of a pointless question to ask and quite off putting. When you have someone reaching out hoping to be a new client, blowing off an offered meeting doesn’t scream “professionalism” to most people. I’m leaving this review hoping that if anyone else is in a position like mine finds themselves needing help I’d recommend continuing the search. I don’t want to do business with people who don’t respect my time or my concerns and I doubt others will either."
