"Because of undetected decay under a bridge, a root canal was not completed by another Dr. as the tooth was not worth keeping. Looking to have the bridge cut and tooth extracted for a future implant, oral surgeons were booking two months ahead. With a hole in my bridge and tooth and not able to chew much with discomfort there, I searched and found five star ratings for Dr. Dingman. I am leery of fake reviews but all seemed legitimate. The Dr. took time to discuss my issues over the phone and with an opening the next day I came in for the work to be done. I do stress over needles so his use of surface numbing then a small needle connected to a tube that slowly injects the novocaine in my lower jaw (the last root canal had seven injection sites without complete numbing as this is typical for me), I was completely numb in a short time from one small poke. He first cut the bridge to produce a crown on the front tooth, the back part basically fell off, then cut/prepped the gum tissue for bone graft material after extraction. The molar was difficult to remove because of my dense bone and long roots but patient persistence and more grinding, splitting the tooth in two he was finally able to remove it. Next the grafting material and cellulose membrane carefully tucked in, folding the gum tissue over with several each of three different size, fine to thicker, self dissolving sutures to keep the site secure for healing. This will aid for correct bone mass for an implant later done by another specialist. I am thankful and very impressed, saving me two months of waiting in a compromised condition. Also the fees seemed very reasonable. On a side note; if you know of a hygienist willing to work in Colden he presently is hiring."
