"I have been to several different therapists in my life to work on a variety of short-term challenges but Donna was the first therapist I met with who felt experienced enough to engage in more intensive therapy. I have been meeting with her for 3 years (and counting) and often find myself grateful to have found a skilled and competent therapist with significant experience in the field that also was the right fit for me and my therapeutic needs. Donna has an extraordinary way of being with me right where am I and never pushes me beyond what I am capable of while also occasionally challenging me to dig a little deeper. How she strikes this balance, I have no idea, but, again, it has worked well for me. Lastly, I find her rates to be generous and reasonable given the amount of time she has been in the field along with her training and credentials. Cost aside, my mental health has improved drastically since meeting with Donna - and you can't put a price on the gift of living with more ease of mind...and body."

"I started seeing counselors in my 20s, mostly for the wrong reasons, like trying to change someone else! In my 40s, I was referred to Donna Davis, LCSW. And I began to heal. She is profoundly gifted in her field. She has training in several areas -- marriage and family, somatic experiencing, for example. She is attentive to new learnings in her field and open-minded about new discoveries. I have benefitted from most of her new techniques. She is the best I know when dealing with the traumas her clients may have lived through. She is caring, has great boundaries (which I really needed, as I had none) and just has an ability to know what to say, when to say it. I am beyond grateful to have found her and to have her accompany me on my healing journey. I refer people to her a lot and have them come back to thank me."

"This provider only cares about the money. Went to see her due to a trauma I was experiencing in my home environment. When I could no longer afford her services and let her know she charged me for an office appointment and missed appointment when I didn’t come as I informed her I wouldn’t. She then sent harassing bills and statements knowing my situation and then turned me over to the credit agencies. Seeing her made my life more complicated not better. In my opinion find someone who cares more about people and less about their bank account."

"If I could give this provider negative stars I would. This provider is only out for the money. I went to see her back in 2016 for trauma I suffered due to an abusive situation at home. Money was tight but I wanted to try to get help. I was physically and mentally suffering from abuse and was unable to work and seeking help quietly. I informed her via voicemail that I would be unable to make our next appointment because I had no money to pay her she not only stated I would still have to pay her but then when I couldn't come she also charged me a missed appointment fee. I informed her well within 24hrs of knowing I wouldn't be able to come up with the money for our session. She sent me a bill of around $300 knowing my home and financial situation and had zero mercy on me struggling. Now my problems went from bad to worse as I am now out of that situation but struggling to make a life for myself as a single parent with 2 young kids and seeing she placed a negative credit mark on my credit report making it more difficult now to rent a home or get a car as my car has 250,000 miles on it. She doesn't care about people only $$ and has made it evident in her actions and lack of concern for people already traumatized and trying to stand back up again. You want true help and compassion? My advice, look elsewhere!!"
