"I first met Kate when I was in pain with a herniated disk. She diagnosed and tested my strength and was able to discern what my problems were and successfully correct them. Her physical manipulations and exercise recommendations were nothing short of remarkable. In fact, I did remark over and over again! She has helped me regain my strength, increased my flexibility, and given me a plan moving forward so I can do the things I want to do without fear of pain. I am forever grateful! (and a little sad to have graduated from her care)"
"Kate is truly the best. As a professional climber, I feel comfortable pushing myself in my sport knowing that Kate is there to fix whatever harm I do. She has treated both knees, both shoulders, multiple back problems and a dozen or more miscellaneous issues that have come up over the last 5+ years. Other physical therapists have at times told me that my injuries were unsolvable without surgery and many months away from my sport, only for Kate to fix them in a matter of weeks all while keeping me climbing regularly. If google would let me give her more than 5 stars, I would. She’s really that good."
"Kate is amazing! She helped me with my chronic back pain and the exercises always help with any flare ups. Recently she helped me with my shoulder and neck, I felt so much better after just one visit. I am a PT, and this is the PT I recommend to my friends and family."
"I have been receiving treatments from Kate for more than 10 years. In fact, I followed her from Charlotte to Asheville. Her diagnostic skills and treatment interventions are second to none. She is knowledgeable, impeccably trained and exquisitely intuitive about all things physical. I was initially referred to her for physical therapy for a herniated disc. I have fully recovered from effects of that… And continue to consult with her for regular treatment of things that need attention. I am extremely active and hard on my body, and Kate keeps me “in line “. You will not be disappointed!"
"I found out about Kate through a recommendation for my stepson from a friend… at this point Kate has treated my stepson, my husband and myself. I went to see her not because I had any sort of debilitating injury, rather I had episodic back and hip pain flareups. I have never gone to another physical therapist before, but I suspect Kate to be different from others. At no point did she suggest that I quit mountain biking or doing yoga. She gave me stretches and exercises to build up certain muscles that have helped me be pain-free. She is also helped my husband and stepson. She also doesn’t work with patients in definitely. She wants to get you up and running so you don’t have to keep coming see her. Also every visit she works out the knots in my back and it’s like an awesome massage except it actually helps everything. Kate is warm, knowledgeable, hardworking and an asset to the Asheville sports community (not that you have to be in a sports to go see Kate… It’s just you might end up going to a physical therapist because you do sports)."
