"Edit: With the new owners, this is not the same environment. There's been a SIGNIFICANT employee turn over, including me. The Donovans shifted focus from Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapies to other interests. When I left after a year and a half, there were very few original employees still there. Many patient families have also chosen to pursue therapy with other providers. As an SLP Assistant with Therapy Source, we are held to a standard of high quality therapy delivery that is patient centered. Patient/caregiver education is emphasized and implemented through conversations, texts and/or notes, including carryover activities. By practicing a home exercise program, patients make progress much more quickly than without carryover activities. With the pediatric population, especially preschoolers, we strive to make therapy fun!"

"The most unprofessional work environment I’ve ever heard about. Our daughter’s physical therapist found a new job a few months back and gave her one month notice. We had one more scheduled session with our therapist and when we arrived, we were told our therapist resigned. We later contacted our PT to find out she had given Therapy Source and the owners her notice three days prior to our session. She was fired the day after her notice. Apparently this practice is extremely common among their physical and occupational therapists; this practice of firing therapists whom gave their proper notice. We went to our last session two months ago and have not gone back. If you want your child to go somewhere with stability and long term service, avoid this place. Also, this place gave their therapist two options: purchase a Therapy Source t shirt or write a 5 star review on google and yelp and get the shirt for free. Ask any current or former therapist. And this is all under the new regime, which is just under a year old UPDATE: It’s hilarious how the Owner only addressed the PT comment. Any new or prospective parents, ask the PTs and OTs how long they have been working there. All will be new because everyone else QUIT. Notice the owner doesn’t address the issue of them telling their employees to write fake reviews for them for t-shirts? Ask any of their workers (since the new owners took over last summer) and none can deny it. Horrible place and good riddance"

"I called today to have my son discharged from therapy. I spoke to Laura and I very kindly and calmly made the request. She was immediately rude and unprofessional in her response and I addressed that quickly. She asked what company I would be going switching to, I remarked as a parent it was my choice of the facility we went. She talked over me and cut me off as I was speaking. I asked who her supervisor was and she replied she was. I told her she needed to rethink how she spoke to parents and told her she was rude and unprofessional, she did not apologize. She stated she was unable to grant my request until next week. I was livid after our conversation. I was told afterwards she had spoken to other parents in the same manner. Parents should be treated with respect, I give respect if that is what I am given but I will not be talked to as though I am inferior to anyone. A company that offers therapy services should have the patient's interest at heart and not see them as a dollar sign. It is a parents right if they choose to go elsewhere for their children's care and should not be treated as an inconvenience. To say I was appalled and upset is an understatement as I have no owner or in an upper management role to speak with and made no offer that I could after stating she was the supervisor. That's not who I would want to represent my company, especially one that works with children. I read other posts for them and noted mostly the positive remarks are those of employees, not of parents."
