Reviews
"So I was a NHRMC employee for 11 years, and I had a VALIC 403b account with the hospital. Over the span of my employment, AIG/VALIC lost thousands of dollars of my retirement investments. So naturally went with a different financial company and attempted to roll my accounts over to their services. It has taken a year, and at least 4 complete submissions of the correct paperwork to get my money rolled over. AIG continually does everything in their power to hang on to my money. They have denied the paperwork because signatures are too old, they have refused to "Certify" signatures, they have been "unable to process" the paperwork until it is out of date, they have been "unable to get in touch with my local administrator at AIG" to sign the paperwork. The local plan administrator and national transfer department staff have ignored phone calls and emails from me and my current financial advisor's team on multiple occasions, and refuse to respond unless it is to deny a request. AIG, David Hayden, and the local administrators of the NHRMC plan will do everything they can to profit personally from your investments with no regard for the cost to you. Remember, this is the company that had to be bailed out in 2008 for losses accrued from bad trading practices, and they are still owned (about 61%) by the US government due to their inability to pay back the bailout money from the mid 2000's. I would strongly advise investing your money elsewhere."
