Reviews
"I don’t typically write reviews, especially bad ones but this experience was honestly shockingly bad. For starters, we reserved a table in advance and when we arrived we were seated in arguably the worst table in the restaurant. I understand that places get busy/full so this is not a huge deal. But we were seated right by the front door (in the furthest corner of the restaurant) and perhaps this is what caused the next issue. In the 2 hours that we spent at the restaurant we saw our server about 3 times. They simply never came to our section. The service was terrible. The food was an absolute rip off. We ordered the $54 cheese plate which comes with 4 different cheeses/meats. There were literally 2 pieces of prosciutto, that’s about $13.5 for 2 pieces of prosciutto.. The $38 lobster bisque pasta was incredibly bland, watery, and genuinely unpleasant. I will say that the boar ragu pasta was the only redeeming item and the reason for the 2 star rating. Had the prices at this restaurant been more reasonable, I would not be as harsh on the poor service. But when you pay this much for food, you expect to at least have your plates cleared before the leftovers have time to harden."
"Everything was fantastic. We had a group of 5, all loved each meal. I had the traditional Ragu and it was the best ever. Would highly recommend. Also service is perfect"
"My sister lives in Brooklyn so whenever my parents and I visit (which is often, we live on LI), we like to try new spots. Terre has always remained my #1. Everything is a 10/10 in my book, especially if you are eating in the back outdoor dining area. It’s magical!"
"This place is an Italy dream! Loved the food. Staff is incredibly kind. Wine selection is extensive and the pours are generous. This is definitely my new favorite spot! • gnocchi was melt in your mouth good • Ragu was flavorful with their signature pasta"
"Phenomenal Italian food with excellent staff. I have nothing but high regards for this place. Our waiter was extremely accommodating and let us try wines before ordering a bottle. He even took the time to explain the menu in detail to us. I got the pesto shrimp pasta dish , and it was incredible — super flavorful and the perfect portion. I would definitely go back for a double date or with friends!"
