I have always found her to be very knowledgeable and caring, she and her nurses make you feel comfortable. "Dr. Chase recently delivered our baby in October and I can’t say enough good things about her! Her bedside manner was phenomenal and she went above and beyond to make our birthing experience so wonderful. She was very thorough and took her time with us. Dr. Chase was so kind and very encouraging during my delivery. She came in first thing the next morning to check on the baby and I, and was very kind. During my 4 week postpartum visit she took her time with me and addressed all of my concerns. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor or better experience!"

"After a very very long time being in pain and discomfort, and doctors telling me it was nothing, I took it to my own hands to call the Women’s Center. I was given an appointment pretty fast with Dr Chase, who I had never heard of before. Well, I could not have asked for a better doctor to look after me. Her care for me was out of this world! She listened to me carefully, she did all the necessary testing in a timely manner. She explained everything very well. My problem lead to surgery. The service and care I got from Dr Chase before/during/after surgery was just amazing! Never in my life a doctor came to check on me so many times after surgery. I didn’t even have to ask to see her. She always pleasantly “popped” her head in to check I was alright and give me information. I love Dr Chase and wish I had seen her earlier. I would certainly highly recommend her. My daughter will be seeing her too."

"Hello! I have been seeing a ton of negative reviews on Dr. Chase and after reading them, I did my research on the issue. However, I am going to share my personal experience before I comment on those issues. I went into Catawba Women's Center on March 1, 2021 for my first ever Pap and Pelvic exam. I was very nervous and having had negative experiences in relation to the female anatomy prior, I knew the process would be difficult. I also have a mild form of Cerebral Palsy which causes me to get be tense when I'm scared. I have tried to get this exam done many times by other providers (NOT at CWC) but have never been successful. I voiced all of my fears and concerns to the nurse that was with Dr. Chase as soon as the opportunity came up, and I was very clear about my expectations. I think that this appointment took twice as long as it should've because Dr. Chase never rushed me though any part of it and I never felt like she wasn't listening to me. I even spoke to her about possibly getting pregnant in the next year or so and she referred me to a high risk Doctor just to be prepared for IF I need that support. The appointment went great and I think that she is a great Doctor! However, I have not experienced Pregnancy, Labor, or Delivery with her or anyone for that matter. So, I can't speak about her ability to perform in those areas. I have watched a video on Social Media of woman speaking out about her experience with Dr. Chase. (I watched this well after my appointment) My heart does go out to her and anyone else that may have had a bad experience with any Doctor; but I think that a lot of these reviews are from people that have never had their own experience with Dr. Chase or Catawba Women's Center. I plan to update this review if/when I do get to experience Pregnancy, Labor, and Delivery with this Doctor. I have voiced to Dr. Chase that when that time comes, I want to avoid a C-Section as best we can. I have read that she does not respect your birth plan wishes. So, we will see how that goes. The bottom line is that I have yet to have a bad experience with her or Catawba Women's Center. I suggest that you see Dr. Chase because she has been wonderful!"
