"I booked an appointment MONTHS in advance to be seen by Dr. Simon. After driving over an hour and arriving 10 min late for my appointment (traffic), I was told that I was too late and would not be seen. Further, the earliest availability was over a month for an on call visit and another 3 months to be guaranteed to be seen. 2.5hours of my life wasted because I was 10 min late. I don’t know any provider who would refuse to see a patient who was a little late. Total lack of empathy"

"This review is purely on my one experience with Dr. Alexis Simon when she delivered my daughter. I actually went to a different OBGYN throughout my pregnancy, but with both my doctors not on call when it was time, she was the fill-in. I had never seen her until labor was far enough along, but she was amazing. She was confident, comfortable, consoling and supportive throughout the delivery. When we were on the home stretch, just a minute before my daughter took her first breath, she told me that I needed an episiotomy to get the baby out safely as she had been in the canal too long and her heartrate was dropping. The way she asked me, I felt enough concern to know I would most definitely do it, but she didn't panic me and she wasn't frantic. She made the cut and 2 pushes later we had our girl. We actually did not know the gender until that moment, and she asked us before delivery got too far along if we wanted her or my husband to announce the gender. I still remember her saying "alright, dad, what do we have!?" It was such a great experience with her and I would not have preferred another doctor."
