"No visible sign for "Uptown Motors" or Budget truck rental. The person "Doug" was very nice and even gave us his personal number. However, he booked our reservation without confirming that the location had after hour drop off. The same location was closed the day it was due to be returned. We were facing delinquent charges or consequences for any damages obtained if left during closed hours. Bad for business..."

"I got a car here - and what stood out was the service and ownership the owner gave me, because the car turned out to have a few issues but he went above and beyond to fix it. Basically an old neon with tons of miles listed for 3500 I haggled down quite a bit. I was concerned about engine/tranny so I asked if he could give me 3 months warranty on it which he did. I had to register car in PA, which is stricter than NY, turns out a subframe piece was rusted and didn't pass. Dealer took it in, had to take engine partially out, by now his profit gone. 4 weeks later the water pump blew, on this car it's connected to register chain, so he took it back and fixed the pump and replaced regained chain and timed it up and put back together, quite a job. By now he had probably lost on it. My point it he wouldn't had sold it if he knew it was in bad shape, but he really owned up to the sale and fixed everything at no cost to me. Highly recommended seller."
