"We try to make this our stop whenever we are in the area. Great subs and sandwiches, and the staff is always friendly."
"Decided to stop here for lunch during a long drive and it was fabulous. The ciabatta is to die for (it’s big beware :)). The boar’s head meat and cheese just elevates the quality and the extra toppings offered made the sandwich perfect. We made our own but they have a wide selection of speciality sandwiches that looked divine"
"I showed up hungry when I realized that a third of their menu has horseradish cheese or other horseradish flavoured ingredients on it. I'm allergic to horseradish. Having all but decided to just let my husband have his meal and I'd find something elsewhere, I asked the staff. They immediately said that they could clean their slicer specifically to avoid cross contamination. Once I said okay, the gentleman got started with the cleaning while I decided what I wanted. After taking a long time to look at options, "the spring" really spoke to me but I'm not the biggest fan of prosciutto. Another gentleman who I assume is the owner said I could swap the meat no problem. I went for lean capicollo instead. The ingredients in the sandwich were fresh and delicious. My only gripe was my bun was dry compared to my husband's sandwich, but I'm willing to excuse it since the service was so fantastic."
"Small Italian deli. Best subs in the area. New owners changed the way the store is arranged and what items they sell."
"How do I do this place justice? Since moving to the area, we have been looking for a new deli. Google/food apps have shown some places, but their reviews weren’t so great. We have passed by Genoa Importing so many times not really knowing what a great gem it is. This place was surprisingly delicious. Doesn’t look so much like a deli from the outside, but they deliver. Not only do they make fresh sandwiches, but serve prepared foods. The bread... I believe the bread makes or breaks a sandwich experience. The ciabatta bread that the Alex sandwich was on had that crispy outside and soft inside. The roast beef, perfect. Everything about it was great. This place has become the go to deli. Cannot praise this place enough. Cant wait to try other things!"
