About Us

The Polish Club, located at 225 Washington Avenue Extension in Albany, New York, is a vibrant institution that has been serving the Polish community since 1932. Initially known as The Polish Democratic Club of Albany, NY, the club was founded with the aim of promoting Polish traditions, culture, and citizenship. Over the years, the club has grown in membership and expanded its activities, becoming a hub for social, athletic, and recreational events.
The current building features one of the largest ballrooms in the Capital District, hosting a variety of cultural and social activities, including popular Polka dances. The club also offers a range of events such as bingo nights, annual Polka-Fests, holiday dances, and traditional Polish-American buffets. In addition, the club has a dedicated Ladies' Auxiliary that plays a crucial role in supporting the club's activities and events.
Membership to the Polish Club is open to both men and women, with monthly meetings held on the first Monday of every month.
