"Twice I have gotten pellets from them. Twice I asked for a 30 min out call. Nothing. Not even a day. Just call. Hey, we are here. It's snowing. I have things where they go. They also have no way to move them besides off the truck. Really, just save yourself the hassle. I used them for gas and propane as well. Not anymore."
"A quiet place to shop without the hustle and flow of Stewart s next door. One of my personal favorite places for gas and beer"
"Wouldn't recommend to a soul. After 4 attempts of getting my fuel filled & them finding new things "wrong" I had my furnace repair man meet philly fuels at my house & magically it's all fixed & they filled my tank. 4 months with a 7 month old baby in my house they declined me & charged me to come out EVERYTIME. They magically filled my tank & tried blaming it on me. Will NEVER be using them again. Wouldn't recommend these crooked people to anyone. Worst experience I've ever had in my life."
"Ehhh, not like it used to be. Stopped a few months back and pumps are prepay. I can understand because of theft, but on the other hand use the police and some cameras, problem solved. Don't inconvenience every customer. On 4/10/21 I stopped for a drink. At the time I went to pay I was informed of $ 3.00 minimum for use of card. Not only is this asinine and outdated, it is actually not allowed by the credit card companies. This practice was disallowed by the credit card laws in the late 90's. There has been a convenience fee at a maximum of 4% instated for retailers, but most have realized that even that will drive customers away. I know from now on I will be stopping next door at Stewarts where they do not do this."
"Avoid. I was a customer over 10 years and had a renter in my home for a short period of time. When the renter moved out I called to schedule a heating oil delivery and Philly Fuels treated me like a new customer to the point that they would not service my home without a new tank inspection, which I already bought and paid for previously. They placed gouging me for the cost of a single tank inspection over my 10 years of being a customer. I recommend avoiding Philly Fuels. You can find many other businesses in the area that will treat you like a human."
