"I wish there were more locations. This is the only place I get subs. The roast beef is cooked fresh every day. The rolls are cooked fresh every day. The tuna isn't dry. They have fresh baked cookies that are the size of your face. You have to get your roll buttered and toasted. It really makes the sandwich better."
"In my opinion, Amiel’s is hands down the best sub shop in the Rochester area. I’ve had Dibella’s, I’ve had Wegmans, I’ve tried Mom and Pop Delis, Amiel’s Roast Beef sub is unmatched. Every single time it’s perfect and their bread is next level. I would go so far to say that it’s the best sub I’ve had in my life."
"I usually go to Firehouse Subs but decided to try this one instead. Great little shop with a nice diner atmosphere. Lots of sandwich options and mine was pretty tasty. Had a tuna on wheat w/ provolone and sweet peppers. Shop had lots of people coming and going on a Saturday, so it seems to be a favorite with the locals."
"Every ingredient was great, but the ensemble they call a "Chicken Parm" sub is so far from what I want chicken parm sub to be, I consider it bad. To be fair, the butter/toasting machine was down for service, so it's possible this sub could be improved enough by that enhancement to be called ok. What I received amounted to a room temperature rotisserie chicken sub with a splash of a loose tomato sauce, and cold provolone cheese. The chicken was not breaded or fried. The ingredients were... *chef's kiss. Super soft bread (maybe even too soft), moist tender chicken (not sure how it's cooked), a fresh tasting sauce, and quality cheese. It just wasn't a Chicken Parm. I should have ordered roast beef or an Italian assorted, or anything else. By all means, order what I had if it looks or sounds appealing. I gave 5 stars for the effort, but the result was 3 stars if that."
"Pretty much the only place I’ve been able to find that still does a seafood salad sub and it’s pretty good here. The place has a fun retro aesthetic and a very low stress atmosphere. It is good to the point that I make sure to come by whenever I’m in town."
