"I love the chicken soup and made to order guacamole. My husband always tries other menu items and enjoys them too but I just can't pass up the soup. Eating there as opposed to delivery is best - food is served hot with generous portions. I look forward to reheating leftovers. Always service with a smile and just the right attention. A relaxed family friendly place to go, even when very busy. Trivia/game nights are loud fun but the hosts seem to take special care to seat us around the corner so the noise becomes more background and we can actually hear each other. One thing I do suggest is to try to eat there instead of delivery or take out."

"Edit: We just happened to check over receipts and found that the waitress padded our bill with items we didn't order, which obviously increases her tip as well. They need to fire Ambar D. immediately. Our fault for trusting their staff, we will not be returning. This is outright theft. Seems like the quality and quantity of food has gone down hill over the last few months. Carnitas were borderline trash as others have complained. Server didn't even come by to get me another drink. They also now bring the checkout machine to the table to guilt trip you into tipping them when they barely do anything. Should of cost half of what it did."

"My daughter is gluten free and LOVES this specific location of Monte Alban. They are the only location of the 3 in Rochester that makes fresh to order guacamole. They have corn soft tortillas that are gluten free and taste amazing. They are very accommodating for my extremely picky gluten free eater. We love Aliyah (amazing server who’s so attentive to her customers). We now ask for her every time we go. She knows exactly what my daughter orders now and never messes it up. The manager is also amazing. He knows we order take out a lot and are very weird in what we order. He always talks to us when we come in and makes sure we are happy. I personally love the beef burritos and the sauce they put over them. I always get an extra to bring home for the next day. And the RICE!! I love their Mexican rice and normally get an extra order. We’ve always had a great experience at this location of Monte Alban."

"One of our favorite places to go for dinner as a family especially with two picky eaters! The food is always good and if you’re lucky enough to have Yaris as your server, your experience will be amazing!"

"This place had top tier service. Our waitress was the best I have ever had. Being seated, ordering food and drinks and receiving our meal was extremely fast and with lots of care. I ordered the street tacos and was extremely pleased. I would go again."
