"I brought a vintage leather jacket in on a Tuesday for a simple alteration— to have the shoulder pads removed. They said it could probably be done by Friday, but they’d call me if it would take longer. They called me on Friday and said it wouldn’t be ready until Monday, so I waited. I came back in on Monday afternoon around 4PM and she said it still wasn’t done, but would be by end of day. I asked then if they could also fix the zipper, since I had forgotten to ask this when I dropped it originally. She said no problem. I came back at end of day and she said it still wasn’t done, the seamstress never came. She said they’d email me when it was finished. Tuesday, no email. Wednesday, still no email so I went back and it was finally finished… but they didn’t do the zipper, just removed the shoulder pads, and charged me $28! $28 for a very simple fix that took over a week. I would not recommend going here for any alterations."

"I just picked up my order and at least 3 of my items are damaged. They broke the decorative metal clasp off of my vintage velvet cape, which cannot be repaired. When they handed me the destroyed clasp, the staff member told me it had been "found in one of the pockets" when in fact they had broken it during the cleaning process. They also failed to remove a note about a stain from my coat before they cleaned it, causing permanent damage where the safety pin was. They broke one of the large decorative buttons on my other coat; a staff member handed me the button but it is unusable because it actually broke off at the shaft. I'll have to replace all of the buttons on the coat now. I was told that the items were put into a machine for cleaning which caused the damage. I thought that dry cleaning services had a more careful and detailed process than that for large items and formalwear. I will not be using their services again. Update 9/27/22 I received a call from the manager; he expressed his apologies for the mishap and offered an acceptable resolution."
