"Been going there for a year, usually I bring in quite a bit of laundry at time, this time I walked in with 12 shirts. A new girl behind the counter looks up my name, sees I am a repeat customer. She mentions buttons, in that they will sew them on if I lose one and have a match. Id forgotten about it but it so happens that one of these shirts was missing a button when I put it on. Since I had them dry clean it the last time , I think its fair to assume they broke it. I show her both the missing button and the extra button, but she says they won't sew it on. I thought you just said.. I say. waited too long, she replies, "that's their policy, two days". Seems odd, if I pick up my shirts and if I don't notice within 2 days a button is missing, they wont sew it on? Most people don’t notice till they wear it, and that could be a month, maybe more. I point out I have 12 shirts here to drop off and and countless more in the course of my lifetime but they wont sew on one measly button? Bad policy, no way to keep customers (at least this one). Last year I was in London and lost a gold button on my Brooks Brothers blazer, the drycleaner in Mayfair not only found me another button but sewed it on at no charge. These guys call themselves Done4youlaundry, unless of course its a button, then you do it youself. Small thing but pretty annoying. Following up: true you may have last seen me nine months ago, but how many shirts did you do at that time? Since you've chosen to publish the date of my order and order number ...Quite a few if I recall. I was nothing but professional with the lady, never vulger. Are you sure that' is what you want to accuse me of in a public forum when you were not there? Your reply's tone has it wrong, I'm not complaining about her behavior-only your short sighted policy."
